Christa Mayer is one of the few women who succeeded in the legendary Kreuzberg School of Photography. This exhibition focuses on the photographer's relationship with her mother. In various portrait series, a family microcosm is revealed in unsparing openness and directness, which becomes a symbol for the relationship between mother and daughter, parents and offspring. The photographs echo the interwoven questions of ageing and generational conflict.
