DISRUPTIVE REALITIES
Über künstlerische Arbeit, ihre Bedingungen – und Resilienz von Künstlerinnen
Friederike von Rauch
Stefanie Schweiger
When the world begins to totter, art becomes a source of strength. With over 20 video interviews with artists from different generations and disciplines, Friederike von Rauch and Stefanie Schweiger combine their own works and texts to create a polyphonic picture of artistic reality - between precarity, invisibility and creative power. DISRUPTIVE REALITIES (On artistic work, its conditions - and the resilience of female artists) makes visible what often remains hidden: everyday struggles, resilience and the political dimension of artistic work. A plea for more justice - and for art as a medium of hope in times of crisis.
