37th Photo Work Scholarship of the Haus am Kleistpark 2026
For the 37th time, the Kommunale Galerien Tempelhof-Schöneberg are offering the photo work scholarship of the Haus am Kleistpark. This year, the scholarship is endowed with 5,000 euros and is awarded to photographers who live and work in Berlin for the realisation of a photographic project.
The program supports contemporary documentary photography in the broadest possible sense of the term, ranging from classic auteur photography to conceptual and experimental approaches. The submitted project proposals must focus on the urban district of Tempelhof-Schöneberg.
An expert jury will select the grant recipient. This year's jury chair is art historian and curator Inka Schube, who founded the Galerie in der Brotfabrik Berlin in 1990 and directed it until 1998. From 2001 to 2026, Inka Schube served as the collection curator for photography at the Sprengel Museum Hannover. She also works as a freelance curator and publicist.
